Definition: The divisor is the number that you are dividing by.

In the problem 100 divided by 5 $$ (100 \div \color{Red}{5}) $$, the divisor is 5.

1) $$10 \div 2$$, 2 is the divisor while 10 is the dividend.
2) $$12 \div 3 $$, 3 is the divisor while 12 is the dividend.
3) $$ 5 \div 3$$, 3 is the divisor and 5 is the dividend.
